Everyone will have their own lists and preferences when it comes to book recommendations. I’ve been thinking about what texts have influenced my opinions and writings the most. This is a quick list of my favourite books on Stoic Philosophy, those that I return to frequently.

I feel that if you are fortunate enough to have access to these titles, you’ll be reading to get a bigger picture of what Stoicism is, and how to actually use it in daily life. Instead of writing a detailed description of each, I’ve left the title and links below in order of the photo above.

Enough said. Happy reading comrades;

John Sellars — Lessons in Stoicism

Donald J. Robertson — Stoicism and the Art of Happiness

Jonas Salzgeber — The Little Book of Stoicism

Seneca — Letters from A Stoic (Penguin Classics)

Marcus Aurelius — Mediations (Penguin Classics)

Epictetus — Discourses and Selected Writings
